The Indiana Percussion Association strongly urges the directors and instructors of all participating schools to encourage their senior members to apply for our annual IPA scholarships. Over the years, tens of thousands of dollars have been awarded to deserving percussion students from all over the state of Indiana. Make sure your student has the same opportunity by submitting an application.   IMPORTANT: Each director is allowed three applications to be submitted per school, and we know that nearly every ensemble has at least one dedicated senior student that is deserving of this outstanding recognition and collegial financial assistance. Congratulations to our 2009 IPA Scholarship Winners! The winners are listed below and were presented their award at the IPA State Finals event held on March 21st at Ben Davis High School. 

Chops Scholarship
$2,500 - Kris Bird - Center Grove HS

Pearl Scholarship
$1,500 and a Pearl Vision Series Drumset given to that student's school - Allison Ritzline - Columbus East HS

IPA General Scholarships
$750 - Isaac Vining - Goshen HS
$750 - Joe Flood - Plainfield HS
$500 - Colin Oakley - Greenwood HS
