Annual IPA Clinic Day a Huge Success

Indianapolis,
IN–The IPA Clinic Day, hosted at Plainfield High
School, was a huge success on Saturday, December
15th. More than 150 students, and over 25
instructors made the trip through a snowstorm to
enjoy clinics by some of the best professional and
collegiate artists in the percussion field.
As part of the clinic day, high school students
participated in the annual Individual and Ensemble
contest. (Click
Here for results).
The IPA would like to extend it's thanks and
appreciation to the many percussion manufacturers
that helped make the clinic day a success. Through
their support of the clinicians, and the donation of
thousands of dollars of products that were given to
clinic attendees, these companies helped to enrich
the educational experience and touch the lives of
high school percussionists. These companies include
IPA Sponsors Chops Percussion, The Pearl
Corporation, Evans, Innovative Percussion, and
Zildjian. Support was also donated by Yamaha,
Dynasty, Remo, Row Loff, Tapspace Productions. A
special thanks is given to Music Travel for their
support in travel arrangements. Another special
thank you to the Hyatt Place hotel at the
Indianapolis Airport.
